I’ve been helping emerging and established researchers for the last six years. I have a passion for people, teaching, numbers and community upliftment. ProStats Solutions was born in 2016 and was the perfect solution for turning my passions into a thriving business! I've lectured statistics to hundreds of students and guided more than 450 researchers, across all disciplines, from day zero to thesis or article completion. If you require assistance with your undergraduate research project, postgraduate dissertation or thesis, journal article, NGO research project, private business or anything in-between, I’ve worked with it all. And if you bring something new to the table, I do love a challenge!
I’m always up for something new, so if you don't see what you need on the list of services, feel free to get in touch and I’ll see if I can help.
Having Kirstie as a Statistician made quantitative research doable and exciting! Her statistical assistance is one of the main reasons for my distinction in my Master’s research component. I highly recommend her services because she has a unique ability of taking complexity, breaking it down and communicating it appropriately and simply to her audience. In other words she has a unique ability of making Stats sound like English! Furthermore, her patience, dedication, commitment and willingness to assist her clients are highly commendable. Kirstie always ensured that I understood the impact and purpose of a specific value in terms of my overall study, regardless of how many times she needed to explain it. She is by far one of the most efficient and effective communicators I have come across. I will always be appreciative for her statistical assistance in my Master’s research.
I have known and worked with Kirstie of ProStats Solutions since May 2016 when she became involved in a project that I am leading based in South Africa. This project was a partnership between the University of Hertfordshire and Siya Sebenza, a not for profit training foundation based in Port Elizabeth, seeking to support unemployed job seekers in disadvantaged communities making the transition into permanent employment. Their role was to put together a data collection system, train the facilitators in collecting those data effectively as well as subsequently analysing the data for monitoring and evaluation purposes in addition to highlighting the key drivers of the success or failure of the programme in different locations. Kirstie is a highly skilled statistician who is very professional and proactive in delivering all aspects of the work that was required by the project.
While working on my PhD, I was lost as to whether I was on the right track, then my Professor decided we must get a statistician, Kirstie came in and made the process so easy and flawless...taking out time to explain what each output meant. Thanks for the good work and I definitely will consult her again in the future.
I really enjoyed working with Kirstie. What was especially helpful was the combination of accountable statistics in a format that was user friendly and easy to transfer into a reporting format that was funder friendly. Everything was always on time – even when my own imposed timelines were quite tight – that really makes a difference in a field where short calls, rapid projects and tight deadlines are the norm.
Being a Masters student in music and deciding to take a quantitative approach to my research, having never worked with any form of statistics, was a daunting task. Receiving the help from ProStats Solutions was a wonderful relief. They were patient and professional in explaining very complicated concepts and terminology to me and were there to assist my supervisor and myself in any uncertainties we have had.
